Welcome to the first associate bulletin!
This first bulletin explains our associate infrastructure, provides a sneak preview into one of our new tools (data visualisation) and invites you to consider a joint response to a tendering opportunity with the NWDA.
If you want to share something through this bulletin, if you think others might be interested in these bulletins, or if you don't want to keep in touch this way (i.e. you want to unsubscribe), then please email me.
Infonomics Associate Network Infrastructure
We're currently evaluating options for collaboration platforms. Our google apps domain has helped associates work together on joint pitches and tenders. The start page provides links to email, docs, calendar and a news feeds. Send me an email if you want to register. Some users have had problems with google apps; if these issues persist then we shall develop a more suitable set of features into infonomics.ltd.uk.
Visualisation Preview
I'm working on an article entitled "What does your economy look like?" which will draw on visualisations of data from Firmergence (our enterprise support intelligence system). You can see a preview of the first visualisation here : it demonstrates both the divergence between large and small companies and the risk of confusion that results when data is viewed at the 'wrong' scale. The article will evolve to show sector segmentation and trends over time. Send me an email if you're interested in the article or if simply want to learn more about visualisation.
Inivitation to partner: NWDA High Growth Support
The agency is tendering for the Provision of High Growth Support (NWDA00230 due 22.10.2007) services. Infonomics' Firmergence toolkit offers a solution for targetting and and monitoring support (e.g. the analysis can quantify how likely a company is to want support for IPR protection without needing to ask!). Send me an email or call if you're interested in exploring a joint bid.
